Lug Width Guide
Your lug width is the distance between the inner edges of your watch's lugs — the small protruding arms where the strap connects to the case.
How to find yours
Look it up: Search your watch brand and model followed by "lug width" — most manufacturers publish this spec online.
Measure it: Using a ruler or calipers, measure the gap between the inner edges of the two lugs on your watch case. Most watches fall between 18mm and 22mm.
What about tapered widths?
A tapered strap is wider at the lugs and narrower at the buckle. For example, 22/20mm means 22mm at the lugs tapering down to 20mm at the buckle. This gives a more refined look, especially on larger watches.
When choosing a tapered option, just make sure the first number matches your lug width.
